At this time, I want to share my best experience in Bangkok. Thank Allah for allowing me to visit The World of Studio Ghibli Animation Exhibition Bangkok 2023 in CentralwOrld. I was going to Bangkok because I attended The Asia Young Ambassador Summit for Tobacco Control Advocate from August 27 until September 2. Lucky me, there was an exhibition on the same date! 😍
I was very excited, you know I am obsessed with visiting The Ghibli Studio in Japan! 😂 I thought, before visiting The Ghibli Studio in Japan, the mini studio in Bangkok would give me the best experience at least. So, there you go!
The ticket price for the event was 650 bhat (Rp 325.000) and a VIP package was 1.290 bhat (Rp 645.000). What is the difference between that price? The benefit of a VIP ticket is a fast track for visiting exhibitions and photo spots and then one program book. So, because it was a good chance for me, I prepared (saving money) to buy a VIP package and of course I was satisfied with that!

“Sarah, with whom you were visiting that exhibition?”
I was alone there, Firstly, I was a little curious how I could take pictures if I was alone there. I bought a tripod, but the committee didn’t allow us to bring a tripod there. Don’t worry guys, there were staff at the whole stands to help us take pictures 😍 whoa so lovely!
OK, let me show some pictures at the exhibition. The best part of the event was the recreation of the famous pictures of the Ghibli Studio, you know what?

Whoaa, I prepared the outfit before I went to Thailand. I found the same colour T-shirt and skirt as Chichiro. I like the storyline of Spirited Away, when Chihiro’s family is moving to a new house but when they stop on the way to explore an abandoned village, her parents undergo a mysterious transformation and Chihiro is whisked into a world of fantastic spirits ruled over by the sorceress Yubaba. Chihiro must use all her wits to survive in this strange new place, find a way to free her parents and return to the normal world.

Furthermore, besides the good storyline, also I like the environment’s illustration of the Ghibli Studio. The landscapes are very beautiful and fresh. It feels like my dream village 😋 Especially in My Neighbor Totoro! When Satsuki and her sister Mei move with their father to a new home in the countryside, they find country life is not as simple as it seems. They soon discover that the house and nearby woods are full of strange and delightful creatures, including a gigantic but gentle forest spirit called Totoro, who can only seen by children.

I think the story of My Neighbor Totoro is very interesting! So touchable because explains the relationship between children and their parents. The next story is about Kiki’s Delivery Service. The story is about a resourceful young witch who uses her broom to create a delivery service, only to lose her gift of flight in a moment of self-doubt.

In this section, I could try some things used by Kiki and Tombo such as riding a bike made me feel like Tombo and rescuing Tombo by straddling the deck brush.
